About the original and web edition
The calculation follows the original Delphi source files BioR.pas and BioR.dfm. The cycles last 23, 28, 33 and 38 days.
This web edition calculates four real sine values per day. Whole-day values remain unchanged while the curves look considerably smoother.
The couples chart averages both partnersâ biorhythms. Family planning combines the manâs biorhythms with the womanâs menstrual cycle: the âboyâ and âgirlâ curves are calculated from his biorhythms, while the suggested conception dates also take account of her estimated fertile days and ovulation.

How this biorhythm calculator works
Four sine curves are based on days since birth with periods of 23, 28, 33 and 38 days. Relationship charts average the corresponding values of two people.
The family-planning view adds a simplified fertility calendar. Neither biorhythm predictions nor the sex-prediction concept have scientific validation.
